HTC finally made it possible to share Duo Camera photos with anyone. So now you can see how all this U-Focus thing works by playing around with the shot I’ve already posted here. Click different areas in the photo to see the effect.
Experimenting with the U-focus feature on my HTC One. It allows to chose the focus point after the shot.
Ideally it should simulate dof effect similar to that on DSLR cameras with true lenses. After using it for a month or so I can say it does simulate it in a number of occasions, but more often it fails to clearly define which area to blur or to focus on. Continue reading “U-focus got you covered.”
It seems to me that I’ll be uploading more photos made with my smartphone than any other camera, as life is running fast and I hardly have enough time to take pictures with my dslr.
Moreover, recently I bought a new smartphone, HTC One M8, and regardless of what is said about its 4 UltraPixel sensor, I think we have some good times together ahead.
